About Miss Missy

Miss Missy has been dancing since the age of three, studying under Patricia Goulding at Patti's Place The Dance Base in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Miss Missy worked as an instructor there for several years until relocating to North Carolina.

Miss Missy studied at Penn State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health and received an Interdisciplinary Dance Minor. While at Penn State, Miss Missy was a member of the Penn State Orchesis Dance Company, and participated and performed in several American College Dance Festivals. 

Miss Missy has been an instructor at Cabarrus Dance Academy since 2008, teaching all dance disciplines and age groups. Miss Missy has also previously worked as a dance instructor and Safety Coordinator at the University YMCA for 6 years.

Miss Missy has furthered her training in New York City at The Dance Teacher Summit as well as various Carolina Dance Masters Conventions.
