The Cabarrus Dance Academy Christmas Ballet is a yearly tradition where our dancers perform both a rendition of the Christmas Nativity, in addition to another Christmas selection. Performance in the Christmas Ballet is voluntary.
The requirements for dancers are that they must be:
Dancers are chosen by audition, though all dancers who audition are given a part. Rehearsals are conducted on weekends. Parents may be asked to make accessories for the ballet, but students are not required to purchase a costume. The only fee associated with participation in the Christmas Ballet is a $40 Performance Fee (2nd child $20), which helps to defray the cost of rehearsals and stage rental for the performance. Admission to the ballet is by donation to the Coltrane LIFE Center.
