Miss Jayme completed her early dance training at Pegge Lee School of Dance and at her mother's studio in Mt Pleasant, NC. She continued studying dance at Appalachian State University, where she performed yearly in the Fall Dance Festival & Appalachian Dance Ensemble.
While completing her MA in Psychology, Jayme was adjunct faculty at ASU, teaching modern and ballroom undergraduate dance classes. She completed her teaching certification in modern and ballet in 2008 through Dance Masters of America and has continued her training over the years at the Dance Teacher Summit in NYC and at Dance Masters Conventions.
Miss Jayme has been teaching at CDA for over 20 years and has enjoyed teaching many genres of dance and choreographing and teaching for the annual Christmas Ballet.
She lives with her family in Charlotte, NC and works as a full time psychologist. Miss Jayme's daughter, Amelia, graduated from CDA in 2021 and was a third generation dancer at PLSD/CDA!
