About Miss Alyssa

Miss Alyssa started dancing when she was 6 years old at Cabarrus Dance Academy, where she studied all styles of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, and sacred. Miss Alyssa was also a member of the Lee-ettes and the Cabarrus Dance Academy Ballet Company while she danced at CDA.


After graduating from High School in 2020, Miss Alyssa went on to study at UNC Charlotte. She has had the opportunity to study even more diverse styles of dance, including modern and contemporary dance, classical and contemporary ballet, and dance forms of the African diaspora including tap and jazz. 

Miss Alyssa graduated from UNC Charlotte in the Fall of 2023 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Dance. In addition to teaching dance at CDA Miss Alyssa is a Kindergarten teacher.
